There are over 30 wars in the world right now. The vast majority are civil wars in which communities are divided and neighbors become enemies.

The Red Cross helps and protects the victims of war no matter which side they are on. In wars and conflicts, the world community has given us a special mandate. The mandate gives us access where no other organizations can come. We fight to get the help out to the civilian victims, no matter which side of the conflict they belong to.

War is inhumanity and chaos - the ultimate disaster. People die and families are torn apart, and it is often very difficult to come forward with help. Here we can make a unique difference because the parties to the war have a duty to let us provide neutral aid to the victims on both sides.

For only DKK 50, we can provide food for a disaster-stricken child for three weeks.
